Back to School Africa

 

 

 

With the $522 collected, Back2School Africa has been able to renovate the website, pay for the media and publicity and do some monitoring and evaluation.

Sasak Satu Swara

 

 

 

With the $105 collected, Sasak Satu Swara has been able to buy 10L of hand sanitizer and 100 masks for the children and staff and has bought 13 books needed for the next 3 months. A percentage of the funds has also been used to support the wifi and electricity expenses of the campus.

・Hand sanitizer and masks

Due to the current covid 19 crisis, the government has demanded to use masks and hand sanitizer for every citizen but not every family can afford it, so in order to fulfill the requirements, they have bought for both children and volunteers. In total, they bought 10 L of hand sanitizer and 100 masks.

・Books

13 new books were bought, that will be enough material to continue the lessons for 2 or 3 months.

・ Other expenses

Other expenses include the electricity and wifi inside the campus.

 

 

Organization’s activities

・Weekly dance learning

Since July, the children have started to learn traditional dances every weekend to preserve the local heritage. This is an activity that will continue on a weekly basis in the future.

・Weekly visit to the local Library

Sasak Satu Swara has decided to drive the children once a week to a local library in order to help them improve their knowledge and have access to many more school materials that will help their education development. This is an activity that they will continue on a weekly basis in the future.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Faith Angels Ministry

 

 

This month the money hasn’t been spent and will be spent during the upcoming months in purchasing iron sheets for the accommodation house they are building for the staff.

Organization’s activities

・Training for teenage mothers

Training for teenage mothers on basket weaving, soap making, and cooking lessons (how to make chapatti and mandazi) in order to help those pregnant women to make a living.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Entrepreneurs monitored by IOM

 

 

 

Last month, the group of entrepreneurs collected $60 USD. The amount is waiting to be delivered to the leader of the entrepreneurs. Since the beginning of the project, we have achieved to collect $500

The collected amount will be shortly transferred to the leader of the entrepreneurs.
It will be shortly divided between the 17 entrepreneurs that already have opened their projects in Airfunding, with the objective of using it to develop their business plans or improve their current businesses.

Solidaridad sin Limites

 

 

 

This month, the collected $45 has been used for the transportation needed for their mission to Guajira.

The money has been spent on transportation to arrive at Guajira. People in Guajira received food, clothes, and medical attention.

 

 

Organization’s activities

 

・Donations in Hogar Divina Providencia

On the 3rd, 17th, and 31st of November donations of food and clothes were made to the Hogar Divina Providencia, a shelter for teenage mothers. This activity is always held bi-weekly.
